Her role on the show is broader than just drinks suggestions though, she features throughout the programme, supporting the main host by interviewing celebrities and guest chefs. Jane also broadcasts on other shows and channels, including ITV’s How To Spend It Well at Christmas, Sky News and she’s a frequent radio commentator too. Jane’s media and hosting work has previously earned her the title Communicator of the Year by the International Wine & Spirit Competition.

Jane is an experienced and energetic host of wine tastings for both professionals in the wine trade and consumers around the country. Her passion for animated dialogue has broadened her remit in the last few years to now include interviewing and compère roles on general drink and food topics.

 
 

Jane has penned two books in the last five years and another is already in progress.

 
 

The latest release Wine: everything you ever wanted to know about red, white, rosé and fizz (erm, usually shortened to just ‘Wine’!) is a chatty and informal handbook designed to give people that extra little boost of confidence and knowledge when it comes to choosing grape varieties and styles to drink.

Jane received the Chairman’s Award at the Louis Roederer International Wine Writers’ Awards for a selection of articles on Champagne.

 
 
 

JUDGING

From Australia to Chile, Jane travels all over the world to judge in blind wine competitions.   

 
 
 

Here in the UK her regular judging duties are food and drink based and include Decanter World Wine Awards, Wine GB Awards, the Great Taste Awards and the National Restaurant Awards.
